DIC Code: The Rules

These rules generally apply only to the laser tag portion of play

Equipment fees of $30 are required before play or a $5 rental fee will be applied per night. The equipment fee is for your custom fit front and back vest with SMG.

General Rules

  1. No storage unit, apartment, or parking lot access except where game type allows.
  2. Play at your own risk.
  3. No kills may take place in the parking lot at any time.
  4. No cell phones except where game type allows. (i.e. Scenario Missions)
  5. No roof access at any time.
  6. No open toed shoes at any time.
  7. No personal accessories i.e. purses or cigarettes.
  8. P.S. is not responsible for your negligence in case of injury to person. However, you are responsible for any and all damage done to property and or any other person.

GOLF CART RULES

  1. Use of the golf cart will be subject to map and game type.
  2. There will be no injuring any person or property with the golf cart or the golf cart itself. (i.e. Break stands, peeling out, flipping the golf cart or doing donuts.)
  3. The driver of the golf cart may wield and fire any one single handed weapon.(i.e. Pistol, plasma pistol, or SMG.)
  4. In a CTF game the driver may not carry the flag.
  5. The passenger may dual wield any single handed weapon or wield a one double handed weapon. (i.e. Shotgun, sniper rifle or assault rifle.)

KILL RULES

  1. 10 hits on a single sensor = 1 kill . Each vest (front and back) have 9 hits of armor and 1 fatal hit. Your vest will warn you after the 9th hit. (i.e. Each vest can take a total of 10 hits. You can take up to eighteen shots total (9 in the back and 9 on the front) before your armor is depleted.
  2. All players must wear their assassination flag on the back vest at all times. If a players assassination flag is removed by another player that player must power down his vest, reattach his flag, and return to the spawn point.
  3. No spawn killing.
  4. If game type allows elimination players must power their vest off and return to the designated dead zone.
  5. Players may not pretend to be eliminated.
  6. Once eliminated players must keep their vest powered down.

Respawn Rules

  1. Once you have taken a fatal hit (the 10th hit on either front or the back vest) you must return to the designated re spawn or dead zone area. If the game type allows medics, you may seek out the medic or wait for the medic to find you, depending on game type.
  2. When you are re spawned the medic or re spawn area will provide you with a frequency which will reset both your front and back vest to full health as well as reset your SMG.

Missions

We have spent a lot of time thinking about different game types in HALO and adapting them to Laser Tag environments. In addition to preset game types, we also have several scenarios planned. All game types and scenarios will be listed here with rules specific to game type. Also check out the Rules section for all of our General rules which apply to all game types and scenarios unless otherwise stated.

Game Types

Slayer

An all out brawl. All players for them selves. All map weapons are available in the basic game type. Custom games can alter map weapons etc.

Players: 4 - 16

Time: 1 - 8 rounds. 5 - 15 mins each

Win: Have the most kills or in an elimination game be the last man standing.

Team Slayer

2 teams are pitted against each other in a massive battle to the death.

Players: 4 - 16

Teams: 2 Even number of players per each team.

Time: 1 - 8 rounds. 5 - 15 mins each.

Win: Have the most kills collectively as a team or in an elimination game be the last team standing.

Capture The Flag (CTF)

Players: 4 -16

Teams: 2 Even number of players per team.

Time: 3 - 7 rounds. 10 - 30 mins each

Win: Capture the other teams flag before they get yours.

VIP

Players: 6

Teams: 2 Team 1 consists of 2 snipers. Team 2 consists of 1 unarmed VIP and 3 soldiers.

Time: 10 - 20 mins

Win: Team 1 must kill the VIP before he has reached the extraction point. Team 2 must keep the VIP alive and make it to the extraction point.

My Hood

Players: 4 - 16

Teams: 2 - 4

Time:  3 - 7 Rounds. 15 Mins.

The Armory

Our armory consists mainly of Laser Challenge (LC) equipment of various versions. Though we are in the process of acquiring Laser Tag Team Ops (LTTO) equipment and possibly Worlds of Wonder (WoW) to be used in scenario specific games while also allowing us to compete with other teams in the area that primarily use LTTO gear.
