The DeathisCertain Myspace has been updated a little bit and pictures from DunDraCon 33 have been posted in the gallery on Myspace but can still be found on the "DiC War Footage" page. The new theme is L4D.
The "DiC News Archive" is going to be reformatted once again due to the problems we had previous to this. We have not had any problems since but due to the large amount of information on the page we will be moving all of the past updates .txt files that will be linked. In essence the Archive will actually become an archive. the more recent updates will stay in their current formats but will be moved to the .txt archive as they get more dated. This way you may also save any updates you want as they will be already formatted for easy access. The files will be grouped by months (i.e. each months will have one file containing all updates for the selected month).

DeathisCertain.Net is proud to announce our official presence on GameBattles.com, an MLG community. Through GameBattles, Death is Certain will be able to make a larger presence in the Ladder based ranking system used by MLG. At this point the Left 4 Dead Division is entered into the ladder. The Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 Divisions will be added to their respective ladders shortly. We ask that all members go to GameBattles.Com and sign up so we can start getting accurate team rankings based on Season Ladders. A Left 4 Dead GameBattles Gamer Card has been added to the "DiC Soldiers" page, next to the Gamer Score Leader Board Gamer Card provided by MyGamerCard.Net.

We are finally back from DunDraCon 33 and we had a blast! We met some amazing people at our events and played in great games. We would like to give Perpetual Motion Squad a big round of applause for their incredible "A Lonesome October" LARP.
Pictures from "Forerunner: Recon"and the "DiC Game Day Arcade" events will be posted to the "DiC Warfootage" page shortly. We are still waiting on many of the image sets from our various photographers. *UPDATE* Photos from Eddie E. AKA NoJacKBacKs have been posted!
DeathisCertain.Net would also like to congratulate all of our winners. The LadyHawkeTravel.Com raffle winner will be drawn on Thursday February 19th 2009 and will be announced and contacted shortly there after.

Ribbons have been awarded to members who attended the any of the DiC events at DunDraCon 33. Ribbons will also be awarded to those of you who let us barrow your systems last minute. After meeting with our sponsors at LadyHawkeTravel.Com, we have got a few more details for you. LadyHawkeTravel.Com will be offering a Vacation Certificate by means of a raffle of sorts. There will be an entry form to fill out during the DiC Game Day events on Sunday February 15th at DunDraCon 33. This will be open to all attendees 21 years of age or over and some restrictions may apply. We will keep you up dated as more details become available.

Apparently we had some problems with the News Archive and some information was lost. Most of the information has been restored with the exception of some of December 2007 and all of November 2007. These updates should be restored soon. We apologies for any confusion this may have caused.
The News Archive has also been updated for easier navigation through past updates. You will find a list of links for each months news by year.

The official DunDraCon 33 Program Book has been posted on DunDraCon.Com. DeathisCertain.Net's events can be found on page 11 (DiC Game Day Arcade) and page 22 (Forerunner: Recon)
New photo albums are being added to the War Footage page and some formating changes are being made to that page to correct some issues with displaying that page on some users computers. The new albums are; "The Pit Construction" and "The Pit Play Testing". These both feature pictures of the Conceptual Design Studio's new map, made just in time for DunDraCon 33.
New recruit, El Droopo added to the soldiers page.
Gimp DiC has been awarded the recruiter ribbon.

Only 12 more days until DunDraCon 33 opens and Forerunner: Recon will be running full steam with our brand new 3D Replica map, "The Pit". This map has been made using a new technique to improve the 3D quality and as always you will not be let down! On Sunday February 15th we will also be hosting a Game Day Arcade event at the convention featuring Xbox 360 and Wii stations from 8am - 4pm. We hope to see you guys there.
